1. Agreement to Terms

By creating an account or using the StarShopper browser extension and services ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

StarShopper is a browser extension and web platform that helps you earn cashback commissions on purchases made at supported online retailers. The Service includes:

  • Automatic affiliate link injection on supported retailer websites.
  • Coupon discovery and application at checkout.
  • Commission tracking and a virtual bank for managing your earnings.
  • Payout processing to transfer your earned commissions.
  • A referral program that rewards you for inviting others.

3. Your Data — Our Promise

We will never sell, rent, trade, license, or otherwise provide your personal data to any third party for their own use without your explicit, informed permission.

This is not a conditional promise. It is absolute. Your shopping data, browsing activity, financial information, and personal details are yours. We collect only what is necessary to operate the Service, and we use it only to provide the Service to you. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.

4. Account Registration

  • You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
  • You must provide a valid email address and create a secure password.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
  • One account per person. Multiple accounts are not permitted and may result in account termination and forfeiture of earnings.
  • You must provide accurate information. Fraudulent accounts will be terminated.

5. Earning Commissions

  • Commissions are earned when you make qualifying purchases through our affiliate links at supported retailers.
  • Commission rates vary by retailer and are displayed in the extension.
  • Commissions are subject to a 30-day hold period before becoming available for payout. This protects against chargebacks and order cancellations.
  • If a purchase is returned, cancelled, or charged back, the associated commission will be reversed.
  • We reserve the right to adjust commission rates at any time. Rate changes do not affect already-earned commissions.

6. Payouts

  • You may request a payout once your available balance reaches the minimum threshold of $10.00.
  • Payouts are processed within 3-5 business days.
  • You are responsible for any taxes owed on your earnings.
  • If your account is flagged for fraud or Terms violations, payouts may be suspended pending review.

7. Referral Program

  • You may invite others to join StarShopper using your unique referral code.
  • Referral rewards are credited when referred users meet the qualification criteria.
  • Self-referrals, fake accounts, and referral manipulation are prohibited and may result in account termination.

8. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use bots, scripts, or automated tools to generate fake clicks, conversions, or commissions.
  • Manipulate affiliate links or commission tracking.
  • Create multiple accounts to exploit promotions or referral bonuses.
  • Engage in any activity that constitutes affiliate fraud.
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the extension.
  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose.

9. Account Termination

  • You may delete your account at any time via the dashboard. Your personal data will be removed within 30 days per our GDPR compliance policy.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. In cases of fraud, any unpaid earnings may be forfeited.
  • Upon termination, any pending (unreleased) commissions will be forfeited. Available (released) commissions will be paid out if they meet the minimum threshold.

10. Disclaimers

  • The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
  • We do not guarantee that coupons will work or that commissions will be earned on every purchase.
  • Commission tracking depends on third-party affiliate networks. We are not responsible for tracking failures caused by ad blockers, browser settings, or retailer changes.
  • We are not responsible for the products or services sold by supported retailers.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, StarShopper's total liability to you for any claims arising from use of the Service shall not exceed the total commissions paid to you in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email to the address associated with your account. Continued use of the Service after notification constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration.
